There were a group of them. I believe that it was Robert C. Cook who wrote the guides and it might have been his original idea too. Ted Turner could have been part of that group because funding that project wouldn't have been a big deal to him. Somebody had to pay for it.

I always assumed or suspected that Turner was connected to the same group as Cook. Turner may have been the moneyman for their creation, as yet uncertain. I never thought that TT had actually written them, per the specific wording, but that it was someone else who did that.

there is NO date from which to dig... the apocalypse is the new information from the CReation... it is not the destruction of the planet.
