Re: What I've Noticed about saying Merry Christmas...
I work part time in retail. My full time job is also a customer service/sales job.

I've worked I don't know how many hours in the last few days at the mall. I've said Merry Christmas to every last customer I had. And do you know what? Everyone said it back. Not one single person seemed offended. Not one gave me or my coworkers any looks. Which confirms to me that the whole "happy holidays" and removing anything Christian about Christmas is being put out there by the msm and the loony leftists. Even the people who looked like they could possibly be that type said Merry Christmas with a smile.
The other thing I've noticed for the second year in a row is that no one had had bad attitudes or been rude or impatient.

Has anyone else noticed that saying Merry Christmas is not a bad thing?
 Quoting: Deplorable Mary

Absolutely

Indeed, I think more people are making a point of saying "Merry Christmas" than ever.

Re: What I've Noticed about saying Merry Christmas...
it's meaningless now, like saying 'sorry'. it just comes out of peoples mouths. they dont wish you a merry christmas, they couldnt care less as long as they get theirs. its a script and only dumb people parrot the lines given to them. what the fuck is merry christmas? if someone gave me a sports car I wouldnt be 'merry' i'd be fucking delirious and also suspicious. what a bout people who dont drink, how can they possibly be merry with no scotch in them.

Soo what? It's pagan popish trash, Jesus was norn in fulfillment of the biblical feast of Tabernacles (fall). No sane person who loves God, who loves liberty can knowingly celebrate it

Christmas is a pagan holiday, and I am Christian, so if you said Merry Christmas to me, i would say have a good one! Christ-mas. Mas comes from the latin word mass, which means missa, which means dismissal, hence Christ-mas, is the dismissal of Christ. If you chose the traditions of man over the commandments of God, you chose the lake of fire

The whole "war on Christmas" is fake news to fire up the rubes. Fake news. A big nothing burger.
 Quoting: LiteaFart

You've clearly never been a federal employee - because all during the Obama years at the USPS we were FORBIDDEN to say "Merry Christmas" when speaking to the public, either on the phone or in-person! We actally got official memoes from HQ in D.C. about it around mid-November. In that memo, it also stated emphatically that no decorations using the word Christmas could be displayed where the public could see them and then suggested acceptable alternatives such as "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings". It was never a concern during the Bush years, or before.

To her credit, as my post office station Manager read the memo aloud during one of our daily stand-up talks, she ended by saying.. "Well, this is one I WON'T be enforcing!" I worked with one Window Clerk who printed up a small counter sign that said, "SORRY! We are not allowed to say "Merry Christmas" that provoked ALOT of negative customer response... and none of it was directed at her personally!

BTW: Good luck finding any recent USPS stamp that has the word "Christmas" -merry or otherwise- printed on it [this year is an exception, because one actually says "Christmas" along with ones for Dewali, Kwanzaa, EID and Hannukah]! Because they too were prohibited... even though since 2001 [barring a few scattered years] the USPS has regularly issued their infamous EID holiday stamp that honors the Islamic holidays "Eid Al-Fetir" and "Eid Al-Adha"!

I'm proud to say those EID stamps were [and still are] consistantly the WORST selling of all USPS holiday stamps, including the ones for "Kwanzaa" which are also notoriously low-revenue. You have NO IDEA how many hundreds of sheets of both of those issues we sent back to the national Stamp Distribution Center outside Kansas City to be destroyed every year... and when you multiply that by the 200,000[!] post offices in the U.S. you start to get a picture of the massive waste involved! In contrast there were MANY years where we ran completely OUT of more traditonal Christimas stamps and were faced with seriously grumbling customers when we did so!

FYI: need more convincing of the propagandistic double-standards in our society? Even the usually spot-on SNOPES fact-checking website waffles on this EID stamp; their pathetic debunking of it's significance rests on two points: 1. that it has nothing to do with Obama [obvious since it was first issued in 2001!] and 2. that it is not a "Christmas" stamp [also OBVIOUS since it honors an ISLAMIC holiday!]. But the ban on "Merry Christmas" WAS directly from the oh-so-PC Obama administration.

EVERY FUCKING DAY OF THE YEAR was some shit pagan, Egyptian, Inca, Aztec, Zoo-roaster, 4,000 year old monkey man bullshit "holiday' before the days of the week even had names we could pronounce.

Christmas is a day meant to be celebrated for the spirit of the day. It doesn't matter that in the year 2420-BC some camel fuckers claimed Dec 25th was fuck your goat in the ass and then saw off it's head and sacrifice it to Doucherella the sun goddess day.

Get over yourselves.

Let’s look at the facts about Hanukkah.

Hanukkah is a fake festival that played no significant role in Jewish culture until American Jewishs worked it up in the 20th century to become a rival to Christmas. Their goal was to vitiate Christian tradition and defile feelings of national unity.

Apart from brief references, there are no significant historical sources related to the Hanukkah story other than the Jewish ones. As in so many episodes involving a clash between Semitism and the rest of the human race, then, what we have left in the written record is the Jewish version of history.

Re: What I've Noticed about saying Merry Christmas...
The Jewish present the history behind Hanukkah as a heroic tale of patriotic resistance by Jewishs (led by the Maccabees) against foreign invaders (the Seleucids). In fact, the conflict began as a struggle for dominance (in particular control of the influential office of High Priest) between powerful Jewish clans. One clan sought Seleucid intervention in Jewish affairs; the other allied with the Seleucids’ rivals, the Ptolemies. Later, the Maccabees formed an alliance with the Romans against the Seleucids. The foreign intervention, then, was actively solicited by the Jewishs themselves.

Re: What I've Noticed about saying Merry Christmas...
As ever, Jewishs claim the Seleucids hated them for no reason. In fact, all the evidence indicates that, prior to the conflict, the Seleucids were tolerant and well-disposed towards the Jewishs. The Jewishs had done something to provoke them, most likely rebelling when the Seleucids were making preparations for war with Egypt. This would have been interpreted as a dastardly “stab in the back.” As Jewishs historian Viktor Tcherikover noted: “It was not the revolt which came as a response to the persecution, but the persecution which came as a response to the revolt.”

a small minority of VERY WEALTHY people control the media and banking empires. These are the people who want to destroy the spirit of Christmas. These are also the same people who crucified Jesus.

Using Jesus Christ as a metaphor, they want to crucify our spirit. Dont let them. They represent less than 3% of America and less than 0.5% of the world.

DO NOT LET THEM WIN.

Hanukkah is based on history’s least impressive “miracle.” The Jewishs claim they lit candles in their temple with oil that should only have been enough to last one day but instead it lasted eight days. It’s like saying “I thought the battery in my cellphone would only last 1 hour, instead it lasted 8 hours! It’s a miracle! Everyone must celebrate this for thousands of years to come!!”

The Hebrew word menorah has the same linguistic root as the Arabic word minaret. Just as Moslems use minarets to signal domination of conquered territory, menorah-lighting rituals in prominent public places in the West today, such as the White House or Berlin’s Brandenburg gate, serve the same function. It is a way of saying: “This is subjugated land. Here we have the /go* the word for non-jewishs *yim/ under control.”

Re: What I've Noticed about saying Merry Christmas...
When the Maccabee family prevailed in the conflict and established what came to be known as the Hasmonean dynasty, they established a tyrannical regime that persecuted its political opponents. A mythologized narrative of the struggle against the “Greeks” was enshrined in the First and Second Book of Maccabees and became part of official propaganda. Lighting the menorah candles became a public duty; the candles had to be visible to all. It thus amounted to both a loyalty test and a ritual humiliation of the regime’s opponents. In recreating it more than two thousand years later, Jewishs are therefore celebrating an instrument of political persecution.

Simple explanation. It’s Trump

All the Dims are in hiding looking for countries with non extradition treaties.

All the RINOs are with them.

The Republicans are out in force shopping, because they have money this year, and the promise of much more.

Not to mention celebrating the foreshadowed asswhoompin they are gonna hand the Dims in November.

What’s not to have a Very Merry Christmas about?

EVERYONE is JOYFUL
