Currently I do not even have an idea how to solve this very serious problem of microplastics, a lot of them on the nano scale that can enter cells.
What happens after they are incorporated in those cells?

It is the superfine stuff, the nano particles, that could pose a problem. Just by their external electrical charge.

That damage could become profound.

Plastic is usually an insulator i thought, not a charge holder.nano particles i thought cant cross a cell wall but could get lodged in digestive tracks.
Floating tanks that have osmosis walls, when the tank fills up from wave action washing plastic in and releasing water out through osmosis walls.
I just dont see no way to get it out on a large scale without trillions and shipping hazards.maybe uv as plastics dont sink, they float.

We need to go back to glass and cardboard containers like our great grandparents used.

As far as the trash plastic and all the rest, put it in natures incenerator...active volcanos, not oceans.

It is shocking how polluted and toxic our water, air, soil and homes are now. Someone undergoing blood cleansing in an attempt to rid their body of Lyme disease and its co-infections was found to have microplastics in their blood. This video documents that near the beginning. Pretty shocking.

"Most "fine dust damage" data are a hoax."

I dont think so... Ive dissected a couple of ex city dwellers, the lymphatic ducts of the lung were completely black. My guess is that the worn of rubber of the tires is the worst... Which is like microplastic.

Carbon chain eating bacteria are not the best idea, since they can evolve, recombine or damage their DNA into something new. See Gulf of Mexico flesh eating bacteria...

The only solution for the nano kind of particles in my opinion is to make them bigger again. There is enzymes that put small carbon chains back to bigger ones, in order to make fuel... So something like this is probably the only route to go, since you cannot really filter that stuff efficiently.
