In the bible it clearly says that homosexuals will NOT enter Heaven, so no we should NOT be accepted of it or the very premise of it, but no preacher would say it in that way, and you should be ashamed for taking his words out of context......that is, if you even went to church at all.

I guess you haven't read the New Testament which is Jesus' word. That's where you will find the scripture that speaks about not mingling with sinners lest they lead you to sin.

And Jesus is right you know. You don't condone it, you don't encourage it and you don't ignore it. Shunning was a very effective means of getting people to "do the right thing" in years past. In fact, you see it in action today except it's become Satan's tool. Plenty of "shunning" going on today against christians, conservatives and Republicans wouldn't you say so?

Dude, there are thousands of preachers out there and they all have a message and deliver it in many different ways.

AND this clearly means UNREPENTANT SINNERS, which most of society is today, sadly.

Openly gay and proud of it would fall under that category.

Your faith should be strong enough that you can love those who are different from you. If not, then lock yourself in your home rather than be allowed to be filled with hate.

I don't see that excluding gay people from attending church and really getting to know who God is will help.

I'm a Christian and I'd have dinner with a gay person.

I'll tell him or her the truth, but I still love them as much as anyone else.
