They is no longer plural?

I have always used "they" when I didn't know the gender of the person...no one ever corrected me, because it's correct...but this shows the stupid confusion people have over obvious gender differences...

Yes, it's still plural..."they" has always been singular or plural depending on usage...

Look, this will piss you off, we have had a fair bit of banter on here & it’s always fun. My pet hate in life is racism, maybe it’s my ‘white guilt’ people here speak of but I just abhor it, I’ve seen a huge amount of destruction due to it.

But people are entitled to their opinions & I respect that even though I delivers a blow at times. Anyway, as a result I ALWAYS report a post if it’s content is something I consider ‘beyond the pale’, by that I mean wording so derogatory that it is in violation of forum rules.

I do NOT do this for posts that are of an ‘opining’ nature even if the context and/or content is a breach. But when it is of a ‘cutting’ or advocating culling then I do. In fact I make a point of looking for it occasionally in ‘bulk’ lol. Once a week for example in ‘blocks’ lol.

I have historically passed over some of your posts, maybe I just like your blunt nature, but in doing so I have had to question the validity of my ‘crusade’ lol.

Anyway, I was hoping you were online so I could approach you with my intent before reporting a couple of your posts I stumbled across, maybe I should have. But I felt compelled to stick with my decision to action my crusade removing my personal displeasure in doing so.

I wish you weren’t such a hard ass with some of you views that I abhor as I have passed over many of you posts which throws into question my credibility but I have to live with that lol.

Anyway, I just couldn’t continue to interact with you on posts/threads without you knowing that you have been caught up in my crusade on 2 occasions. Even in my synopsis I included ‘regrettably’ LOL.

This admission will no doubt cause me quite a ‘backlash’, however, live by the sword, die by the sword!

I won’t apologise for it, but it was regrettable, as is, I feel, your attitude on this subject, but you are entitled to your opinion as much as I am entitled to mine.

For the record, it is only ‘strong racism’ I report & nobody will ever see any ‘copyright report 3thumbs’ on my list.
