And you have succinctly pinpointed the "dissonance" in your situation - that you have more potential which is not yet being "lived". The step from being employed to self-employment is presently a large one, not without risk but always the start of a new era. It is a good time to envision what - in perfect circumstances - you would like to do, or what would be your ideal working conditions. To produce things of beauty, and which are useful, is a great combination. Sewing requires patience and great attention to detail - exemplary qualities. So congratulations. LightAssistant User ID: 78234643 Finland 12/08/2019 12:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Dear Readers: Quoting: Colour Crusader Just like every seed grows and develops into its full potential according to a divine blueprint (an acorn seed never turns into a blueberry bush), every human also has a divine blueprint, and a special task in life. Some people know really really on what they want to BE, and dedicate their lives to that. Others DISCOVER their true direction through bouts of this and that, and sometimes by facing a brick wall which forces us to turn around and choose a new path. If we are aware, signs or encounters with others will also be placed in our path by divine hand, to point us in a direction where we will find fulfillment AND BE ABLE TO SERVE OTHERS. In the beginning, I was envious of those who knew right from the start that they wanted to be a carpenter or a doctor etc. I have been down several diverse paths, and it is only recently that I realized they were actually all contributors to my learning process, and also part of my "mission". "Mission" may seem like an imposing word, but with the world as it stands, nothing short of missions - pursued by every individual - is actually going to be strong enough to turn things around. Too much energy is wasted in directions which are futile and harmful, and which involve wastage or resources and talent. My question is: IS YOUR JOB USEFUL AND FULFILLING? Or is it pointless, destructive and just a way to earn money. My second question is: WHAT IS YOUR VOCATION? Imagine that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, and that there will be NO OBSTACLES WHATEVER IN YOUR WAY. What would you choose? And how would this benefit humanity? DREAM ON!!!! [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] And those who "knew right from the start" maybe had their focus on a fixed goal without realizing the value of the journey to obtain it. Oftentimes people view the years of training/studying as a chapter to get over and done with as fast s possible...seeing not that every day is full of life's lessons and graduation happens every time a challenge is besieged, a fear overcome, a grudge forgiven, a conflict sorted. Every time a choice i made that considers the best for all involved a door to greater wisdom opens. -And if you pay attention to such matters you realize that there's a Universal red thread in every aspect of life and that it has to do with a Greater meaning in all we do. A desire may then arise to find ways to serve this Greater development and all of a suuden you find your "missions" -creative ways to weave the red thread of Divine Beauty, Truth and Goodness into your various paths and the journey becomes the goal... |

I've been all over the State of New Mexico, and to El Paso, TX (El Paso.... ). The job is perfect for me, because I love to drive and travel, and I'm a healer. I really couldn't ask for a better "job"....I mean, most days it doesn't even feel like work. Heh, if I've done a long, long run (450+ miles), then a short run (140 miles) feels like a paid vacation.... It's a job I ADORE. My bosses are very fair and I love them....the best bosses I've had in my entire 61 years of living. You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. -Buckminster Fuller ...I adapt to the unknown, under wandering stars I've grown, by myself, but not alone... We are actually all citizens of the cosmos, just quarantined at the moment, but later we will have access to the cosmic space highways, LOL! I will be looking out for you, fellow traveller! Great to hear that you are happy in your job. I drive for a living. Long run, non-emergent medical appointments. If they are, what a waste of 8 or more hours a day doing something you hate, in order to spend the rest of the time doing something you like..... The vision is that EVERYONE LIVES THEIR VOCATION. If that were so, everyone would be enthusiastic about every single second of their lives. Of course there are not so pleasant tasks which must be done, but the more joy and fulfillment in our "jobs", and the more quality in our productions, and the more love and kindness we extend to others, the happier everyone is going to be. The end result is a very high level of spirituality IN WHICH THERE IS NO NEED FOR A MONEY SYSTEM AND NO BILLS TO PAY. SO what is the priority? To scramble and buckle down within this debilitating system, or to CREATE SOMETHING NEW THROUGH A RADICAL INCREASE IN AWARENESS AND IMPROVEMENT OF HUMAN BEHAVIOUR WORLDWIDE? Jobs aren't meant to be useful and fullfilling. Life is. Jobs just pay the bills. Get your priorities in order. Cant seem to grasp the inner self to find ways to do what I enjoy whilst be able to make it a thing to support me.
