Why Donald Trump could be toast this week

Gordon Sondland will come clean and “tell the whole story,” including giving details and providing documents.

Recall that Sondland has already “corrected” his deposition testimony and revealed to the media that he did, in fact, “recall” his discussions with Trump that involved Ukraine announcing an investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden if they wanted the military funding that had already been earmarked for that purpose.

Sondland had multiple direct conversations with Trump. He is, therefore, in the unique position of giving the only direct testimony of Trump’s demand that Ukraine investigate the Bidens in exchange for military aid. Because Sondland has changed his testimony to match the testimony of others, how will we know if he’s telling the truth this time? One clue is that as Trump typically does, he now “hardly know the gentleman.” Oh, please. Sondland donated a million dollars to Trump’s inauguration. Do you really think he “hardly knows him?”

Trump rewarded Sondland for his generous donation, and Sondland tried to pay him back by lying for him. Enter Bill Taylor, who basically testified that Sondland is lying. Now, Sondland is walking back his earlier testimony, making his testimony a threat to Trump, and suddenly, Trump doesn’t know him. Sure he doesn’t.

The true test for Sondlond will come when he testifies before Congress. He can potentially spare himself while convicting both Giuliani and Trump. His diplomatic career will be over, but what might he find more attractive, returning to private life or going to jail? At this point, everyone knows he lied, no matter how he might try to dress up his testimony or pretend that his memory has once again deceived him.

HOW HAS SONDLAND’S STORY CHANGED?

Sondland told lawmakers during closed door testimony in October that he did not know about any preconditions on U.S. security aid to the Ukraine government, which was approved by Congress to help it fight Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.

But on Nov. 4, he sent the congressional committees an addendum, saying statements from other witnesses had "refreshed" his recollection about certain conversations from early September.

In his addendum, he said he now remembered that he had told an aide to the Ukrainian president in early September that the United States “likely” would not send the aid until Ukraine provided an anti-corruption statement they had been discussing.

Wow! Impeachment proceedings and the Fifth Column Debates in one day. The funny thing is that they deliberately orchestrate these things with their co-conspirators in the media, hoping to saturate the public with their anti-American messaging, but in doing so, they inadvertently give themselves a lot bad press and turn rational, thinking Americans off.

It’s funny that the dems are acting so hard with the make up and the whole show only to make fools of themselves at each hearing! It’s an early Christmas gift for the dems! The gift of entertainment!

Very predictable... but these hearings so far have been an absolute dud... as predicted.

The dems need some tricky ideas to save this charade. How about Schiff directs a classic “cliff hanger” to leave off at the end of today. He can say, “I now know what trump did wrong! But you will have to wait until the next hearings to find out so you better tune in”. Anything besides an awkward exchange of nothingness for four or five full days

About yesterday’s star witness


Vindman, who was a Major at the time, was sitting in one of the classrooms talking to the US and Russian soldiers, as well as the young officers and GS employees about America, Russia, and (President) Obama.

He was apologetic of American culture, laughed about Americans not being educated or worldly, and really talked up Obama and globalism to the point of uncomfortable.

He would speak with the Russian Soldiers and laugh as if at the expense of the US personnel.

At that point I verbally reprimanded him for his actions and I’ll leave it at that, so as not to be unprofessional myself.

The bottom-line is LTC Vindman was a partisan Democrat at least as far back as 2012.

So much so, junior officers and soldiers felt uncomfortable around him.

This is not your professional, field-grade officer, who has the character and integrity to do the right thing.

Do not let the uniform fool you…he is a political activist in uniform.

I pray our nation will drop this hate, vitriol and division, and unite as our founding fathers intended!

Thomas Lasch, Hickman’s boss at the time, corroborated his story on Twitter.

“Jim, I remember exercise ATLAS VISION and this incident. I was your Boss at the time and was satisfied when you told me that you ‘took care of it’ (meaning then MAJ Vindman’s disparaging comments about the U.S. to the Russians ) and I just put things together this past week,” Lasch tweeted.

Lasch vouched for Hickman in a second tweet: “Everyone on this thread should know that Jim Hickman’s patriotism and honesty is unparalleled. He is one of my personal heroes.” He added: “This is not about Trump! This is about an officer [LTC Vindman] that is disloyal to the United States of America.”

WTH? Vindman Says Ukraine Asked Him to Be Their Defense Minister “Three Times” (VIDEO)


To put this in perspective, Vindman told Ukraine to ignore President Trump because he “thought” Trump was wrong in his policy with Ukraine — then leaked contents of Trump’s phone call to the whistleblower in order to launch a coup to remove a duly elected president from office.

What the hell was Vindman doing that led Ukrainian officials to believe he would make a great Minister of Defense for another country??
