Can someone educated tell me the line of thinking these evil people have in murdering their own children?
I've seen many cases and I'm trying to understand from a criminology point of view.

Infantcide in oppressed/interned/starved populations is common because they don't want their children to experience the same torture as them. That or they really hate their kids. Wow. That's dark. Life isn't always pretty. And, honestly, considering how we treat orphans, foster kids, and adopted kids as a society, it might make sense in an unfortunate way. I know I wish I had been allowed to die with my parents when I was little rather than dragging through every excruciating moment of the next couple decades of abuse at the hands of a stranger in a fucked up land. I wish I had just been able to curl up with the person I loved most and been allowed to leave this life with her.
