Replying to this again due to the money question. If you continually suffer abuse, your emotional and thus your physical health will suffer longterm. This means that it will impair your ability to earn money yourself, which in turn makes you more dependent. This sounds like a downward spiral to me. I do not know our situation, of course, but fear is not a good advisor, as we say in German (Angst ist kein guter Ratgeber). Going through fear, and realizing that one survives despite everything is a real moral booster. I hope you may be able to entertain some alternatives. What comes to mind is the moment in Donald Walsch's film about his life - from being down and out to a bestselling author. There are pivotal moments and opportunities offered to us, if we intend it and if we have set the course. All the best for you. Love Color Crusader

The number 28 popped into my head for some reason. I am currently experiencing a conundrum. The question I have is how do I reconcile/understand the opposition, resistance, anger, 'bad energy' I experience from those in my immediate sphere of influence (close family/friends) every time I feel I have made a significant discovery of personal (universal?) truth. For instance, today my attempts to balance, and perhaps self-righteously uplift my wife during these hard times backfired enormously. I thought I was doing a good thing, sharing my so-called insights. She, as bright and beautiful of a soul that she is, seemed to react in the exact opposite way I expected. Test?

Thank you for sharing, AC. You seem to pinpoint well what the conflict within you is. The question is: is it working - reasoning what is "better" for you. If you say "Oh, I should be more self-disciplined", then you are not addressing the problem behind your tendency to let things slide in whatever way. It is only when one finds the root of the matter, that one can change the outcome. Many people resort to excesses of all kinds. And knowing that discipline is the solution does not instantly help them to stop. Just musing here. Hope that all goes well for you. Love Colour Crusader.

This is a question I have missed, I think. Anyway: let me address it. The answer provided below will not help.

First of all; these are very difficult times because we are literally being divided into two groups: the first group consists of people who are prepared to look at things twice, to critically assess, to consider that they might have been wrong in what they thought or believed before, and who consider that life is a learning journey. The second group consists of people who are "stuck", who will never change their views, who do not like to "lose face", who are led by ego, who are deeply materialistic and who do not question.

Imagine that a huge chasm is opening up, like an earthquake fault line. First it appears like a crack. It is still possible to cross over from one side to another. As the crack opens, the chasm widens and it takes more effort to jump across.

There comes a point where the chasm is so big that there is no way to cross it any more. At that point, our chance is over. This is the process underway on earth. We are being tested as to our ability to live a spiritual life. And yes, this will mean losing friends, and work. It is very painful and sad to be progressing at a different rate to ones friends and colleagues.

The answer, I think, is to take full responsibility for oneself, to know that one is on a path of discovery and progress. You are not the only one traveling on this path. You will find fellow travellers. This is a temporary period. It will pass, and following its "closure", there will be a wonderful new beginning. So I advise taking hope and helping whoever you can to "cross the line", if they are willing. And if they are not willing, allow them to continue on their chosen path.

But...is it only about choosing numbers?

That is also very interesting. I tend to smile at everyone even when not feeling my best. Can't seem to help it. LOL. My belief is that projecting positive energy helps me and brings a smile to others. But it can also piss people off who don't want to be happy.

A few things stand out. Often I ignore sudden impulses, and often find the impulse should have been followed. What I do for extra income is very logical and mathematical, yet the sudden impulses are often the answer. Go figure. LOL

Plenty of mental bruises, and have to deliberately disallow those to get in the way. Negative people seem to be drawn to me, so have to be cautious about getting sucked into their dramas.

I am at an age that the government forces it's involvement in my life, and is causing problems that should not exist. Unnecessary obstacles. Very frustrating.

But regardless, there are many blessings to be grateful for and I am thankful everyday.

It seems that it is time for you to MANIFEST YOUR VISIONS. Think of the most attractive and beneficial and exciting situation, for you and to benefit others, which you can imagine, using your own skills, and maybe including the skills of others. What wonderful project would this be? In your contemplations, do not include worries about financial aspects or resources. Just imagine that there are no obstacles. This should really fire you up with incredible enthusiasm.
