A dozen street bums might decide your refrigerator offers 'a better meal' and your bed and your children's beds and your computer and your truck offer them 'a better life.' They're sure to be 'offended' if you don't hand it all over, including your spouse and children.

There is no 'Belgian' nation, no 'Belgian' people, no 'Belgian' race, no 'Belgian' language. Do you have anything left to make you want to hold onto even as much as your Belgian lives? Maybe not. But the rest of us still do.
