I've felt that way about my keys before. Fortunately, I always find them where I lost them.

I think it's also called "Poor Memory Syndrome ".

There is something to it. Even on film or surveillance. There isca difference in "oh what did i do with it" and "it has vanished".

I could write a book on how many times this shit has happened to me.

think i will always remember this one day, leaving the house with the kids, going through the garage, had them all seated in the car, then daughter remembers she forgot her favorite toy, this ball

had recently been listening to Uri Geller about how he can manifest lost objects, probably something to do with this

anyway, looked all over, couldn't find the ball, finally gave up and walking through the garage something fell from just above my head, landed on my shoulder, and somehow got tangled in my hair which was nto all that long

it was the ball, of course

the garage was finished drywall all around, there was nowhere for the ball to have come from

Well, I had a fly swatter out in the garage for several years (it was brightly colored purple for easy recognition). I always placed it on my lawn mower handle for easy access. About a week ago, I picked it up to swat a mosquito, set it back down right where it normally is placed. About an hour later, I reached for it to swat another pest and it was gone. POOF! No where to be found. I've searched my entire house. I have no clue what in the fuck happen to it.

I am a creature of habit when it comes to where I keep certain things. My car keys, my wallet, my phone charger cables, things that I use/need regularly, have a place for quick access. On occasion, things are not where I left them. It happens. My most notable example of DOP was a couple years ago. My phone charger, always in a certain place with an electrical outlet, disappeared. I had to buy a new one, as I couldn't find it. Two weeks later, it showed up on my bed. I have no explanation, although I suspect a pesky ghost that was hanging around at the time. I still have no idea where that charger went for those 2 weeks, nor the mechanism for it's disappearance or movement. It baffles the mind.

I am a paranormal investigator, and dead people follow me home all the time from investigations. It's mostly because they realize that they can suddenly be heard after 100-150 years. So, things move in my house occasionally. It's attention seeking behavior.

ok this happened to me right while i was holding the object. best description is that it didnt fall in any direction when it disappeared.

One of the weirdest occurrences happened to me as a kid.

I had a rare blue eyes white dragon yugioh card i kept in my top drawer. This was a cult phenomenon and it had me under a spell so deep that when my brother said he was going to take back "his" card i flipped the fuck out and ran to the drawer only to find there were TWO of them!

It wasn't lost or just 1... It duplicated!

Lo and behold, my card was taken away at school in the third grade.

It sat on the principals desk for awhile and i kept thinking of ways to get to it until 9/11 happened and i wrote a speech that they let me read over the intercom... Sitting at the principals desk.

I got the card back and still have it today... And whatdya know? It's a 1st edition Kaiba Deck BEWD.
