Once found a $20.00 while trick or treating, found an entire purse in a Kroger shopping cart in the parking lot which I returned to customer service and once found a mans wallet in parking lot at hospital which I returned to security.... |

User ID: 78077168 United States 10/20/2019 12:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | in 1983 I Found $560,000 in cash while fishing in international waters off the coast of California. Literally in a abandon Pontoon. May of been other things on the boat but i had no interest in that kinda trouble..I was gonna put it in the bank but my Dad said i could not. Gave my Dad and Mom 100 grand and i went and lived in Vegas for a month. I played the slot machines daily then deposited the winnings at the local bank. By the time i went home i had 330,000 in the bank and all cleaned through slot machine winnings. I bought 5 houses and about 10 years ago i sold them and walked away with a crisp 2 mill. I am in my late 50s now and currently retired on a budget but i had a great life and still living a dream... If I found it in say, a parking lot and no one around, then I'd keep it. Large Yeti half full of rolled quarters and the other half cash 20’s. We reported it to the park ranger and they followed us back to retrieve it. I never heard a thing about it. No reward no thank you or anything. I guess there was about 95k in there. Cheap bastards. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77885707 United States 10/20/2019 02:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Found a backpack once walking by the halfway house. Opened it up an ounce of weed and rare rookie baseball cards. Felt around in the bag and found in the hidden pocket $1,000 cash and 30 $100 Visa gift cards. Left the backpack there with the weed then decided to take a huge piss all over the weed and ripped the baseball cards in half before reassembling them in the plastic slot thing. So I guess at some point someone from the halfway house came out and at a glance everythinv looked intact... Must have fucking sucked getting home though and realizing what happened... Then loading up the bong with ganja drenched in urine. |

The put my name on it and the date. 30 days later, they gave it to me and I bought my class those big, iced cookies and banked the rest. When I was 15 I helped my neighbor's kids clean their bar and always found money on the floor, which we kept. The bar was very dark when open to the public. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78087228 United States 10/20/2019 03:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In my car I pulled through a traffic light, road sloping down-hill, and saw what appeared to be a Kilo-sized (bread bag sized) package with the corner torn open, and white powder spilling out in the middle of the fucking road. I took the next R/H turn and looked for a place to pull-over. While I was looking I noticed this dude walking double-time up the sidewalk, with a really intense look on his face. I decided to myself, it was not worth the risk, and kept going. . |

Bank called and said an old lady had accidentally put a bunch of money in our checking account. They asked us to come up and sign something that they could take it out and put it in her account. It wasn't ours, although it would have been nice. Sigh. So to the bank we went. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78087228 United States 10/20/2019 04:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A friend of mine was working an avionics repair in the cock-pit of a 737. Opened the access panel and found a Kilo of Cocaine tucked up in there. Loaded that shit in his tool bag, went home, and stayed up all night worrying about what to do with it. He took-it back into work the next day, called the supervisor over and turned it in. Repair work requires the mechanic to sign-off on the repair documents, so he figured he would be a dead-man when the smugglers found out who did the work on that avionics panel? . |
