Twice I have found women’s wallets at JC Penney and turned them in to the cashier, were probably stolen from some ones purses and left behind. Once found a $20.00 while trick or treating, found an entire purse in a Kroger shopping cart in the parking lot which I returned to customer service and once found a mans wallet in parking lot at hospital which I returned to security....

I found some young black girl's wallet laying in the middle of the road in Oxnard, CA once. I took a lot of time & trouble to find her and return it and that fat black goblin didn't even say "thank you". Now I don't do that shit anymore. People suck....

A lady in front of me at store dropped a folded hundred dollar bill. She was shocked when I touched her arm and told her she had dropped it, honestly I could've used it but that would've been wrong. She said she was 89 and living on SS that was all she had left for the month

If I saw them directly drop it, of course I would. If I found it in say, a parking lot and no one around, then I'd keep it.

Yes, my wife and I found a Yeti by our camp. The cooler was full of cash and quarters. It was so damn heavy. Large Yeti half full of rolled quarters and the other half cash 20’s. We reported it to the park ranger and they followed us back to retrieve it. I never heard a thing about it. No reward no thank you or anything. I guess there was about 95k in there. Cheap bastards.

Found a backpack once walking by the halfway house. Opened it up an ounce of weed and rare rookie baseball cards. Felt around in the bag and found in the hidden pocket $1,000 cash and 30 $100 Visa gift cards. Left the backpack there with the weed then decided to take a huge piss all over the weed and ripped the baseball cards in half before reassembling them in the plastic slot thing. So I guess at some point someone from the halfway house came out and at a glance everythinv looked intact... Must have fucking sucked getting home though and realizing what happened... Then loading up the bong with ganja drenched in urine.
