Tulsi is mostly a typical liberal in her preferences and biases. Such people are a major reason various forms of corruption - from the cultural to the financial - have eaten away at America over the past 50 years.

She's as much a part of the problem as slimeball Hillary is. Perhaps a bit less so since she may not be as greedy and unethical as Hillary is. But Tulsi is still pretty weak in the areas of common sense and compassion.

I think you are in for a surprise. Her being supposedly at odds with the Democrats may be a carefully orchestrated ruse, because their internal polling shows that they are hated by most of the American people. Therefore, if they are going to have a shot at all in the upcoming election, then they are going to have to seemingly pull an upset by a rogue, darkhorse candidate that is supposedly at odds with the party apparatchiks, when it is the people those apparatchiks answer to calling the play. It would also explain while the Democratic field is so piss poor. One of these things is not like the others.
