They denounce in particular their working conditions, job cuts and demand the increase of their fire premium. This parade, which must start at 14 o'clock from the Place de la République to end at 18 o'clock Place de la Nation, continues a strike started in June for the same reasons . Doctors and healthcare staff will join, including those of emergencies, also on strike for 7 months. Machine translated. The problem here is that the Catalans aren't trying to have a real political discourse or coming up with a real solution for independence, they simply are playing on the emotion of the citizens. They have valid points about their contribution to the Spanish economy compared to what they receive, but just trying to break away without a plan or agreement with the national government is ridiculous. Every few days there are independence rallies here now, but the average person has no idea that the leaders are just using them as leverage. Quebec at least made a feasible plan and the country had a referendum to decide their fate. Here, it is just people that have been filed up by politicians to rally, without actually having a basis for secession. Also, of course the leaders would be charged with sedition. They tried to undermine the government to break away, which is clearly illegal in any democratic state. |

It is a monarchist Empire that is actively genociding the Basque and other ethnic minority majority regions. The Spanish King needs to be brought before a human rights tribunal, found guilty and executed. |
