Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 47090265 United States 10/14/2019 07:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The movie was supposed to be based on tape recordings, and video footage that have been distorted. It is also suppoosed to be based on the accounts from a psycholgist named Dr Tyler that was the mother of the girl that was taken, and possibly two other phd drs. How the vids got distorted seems obvious. The real videos are always taken away, destroyed, or lost, just like the pentagon vid from the gas station across the street on 911. If you haven't seen the movie, I don't want to spoil it, and it's not bad... The purpose of the thread was to highlight the dashcam video from the deputy. He is heard saying something very pecular on the video, and his account of what happened should have been in the police report. The movie never addresses this and never tells the deputy's name. |

If you guys got a link showing the evidence of how the whole thing was fake, please give me a link! If not, again, this thread is only about the missing eywitness testimony of the deputy's dash cam video. It literally is about verifing the words said by the deputy and not assuming any truth to the movie or claiming fiction. |

Has always confused me. Normally that would be docudrama(true but dramatized). |

If you are going to claim something like this in this thread, provide the link, or for now on be labled a shill. This is three times that people are talking trash without proving links, and I've been only interested in the deputy's account of the dash cam video within the police report. This would be real evidence. The kid was taken, and to this day, she is still unaccounted for and still technically missing. |

If you know of said evidence then post it please. I for one would like to see it and put this thing to rest. If not, shut up. Doesn't anybody feel that all these killers should be killed, and all these healers should be healed, so all of these beggars can be filled... Toes across the floor, Blind Melon |

Nothing was discovered and all the footage in the movie is fake and dramatized. Actually it was disappearances that occurred between the 60s-2000s. They had a theory it was a serial killer because the pattern was all men who visited the village. They concluded there was no serial killer and closed the case. People disappear a lot in Alaska. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76760837 United States 10/14/2019 08:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here dumbass OP, fucking educate yourself and stop believing Hollywood as fiction. Less than 50 “ Nome Alaska Missing People – Truth vs. Fiction The true part of the story is as follows. In 2005, FBI homicide detectives did in fact investigate the mysterious disappearance of 24 people that had taken place in Nome between the 1960s and 2004, which caused locals to initially think there was a serial killer involved. According to the Anchorage Daily News, most of the victims were native men who had travelled to Nome from surrounding villages. The FBI determined there was no real reason to suspect a serial killer and instead came up with the explanation that, “Excessive alcohol consumption and a harsh winter climate,” were to blame for the disappearances. (4) However, The Fourth Kind is based on a conspiracy theory from the movie producers as to why those people went missing from Nome, and that they were actually abducted by aliens. The footage in the film that shows hypnotherapy sessions taking place between “Dr. Abigail Tyler”, played by Milla Jovovich, and the patients who claimed they had been abducted. The movie was dubbed as being, “the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented.” (5) Between the FBI dismissing the Nome missing people’s case as being due to “excessive alcohol and a harsh winter climate”, and movie producers ‘cashing in’ on the story by producing a fabricated tale about alien abduction, it is hardly surprising that the families of those who disappeared are upset about the lack of case closure.” [link to www.topsecretwriters.com (secure)] |
