The auto shop I go to will not charge for a diagnostic because they intend to satisfy a large volume of customers. Autozone gives a free diagnostic. lol Autozone is usually wrong... I don't pretend it takes an hour, my experience and ability to PROPERLY diagnose a problem allows me to be faster and better than the free and often wrong diagnosis from the wannabe's... In the meanwhile his dyslexia kicked in and he gave me the wrong code and diagnostic. Two days later I went back to autozone and they corrected the issue. I purchased the part for $20 and had no more problems. It was inconvenient but still cheaper than paying for a diagnostic from a car shop. |
