What If The Rapture Happens?
Assuming you're still here, what would you do?

Disclaimer: This thread isn't to debate the validity of the Rapture or the timing thereof. I am simply asking a hypothetical question.

What if you were a doubter and a naysayer, but such an event occurred? Would you acknowledge it as the Rapture? Would you become a Christian?

Or would you attribute it to space aliens or some natural phenomenon?

Would you realize you were wrong, yet despise and hold a grudge against God?

If you are an unbeliever, I'm curious how you would respond IF a Rapture-like event did take place.

Your thoughts, please.

Good point. It could happen just moments before a sudden and global cataclysm. Many of the witnesses would then immediately perish. It could unfold in such a way that it isn't obvious to all those who survive, and thus false explanations for the event will be more widely accepted.

I remember being shown the movie A Thief in the Night when I was an early teen and it scaring the shit out of me. I figured at the time if it happened and I was left behind that I'd take to the woods and hide out. But nowdays with drones and such, I wonder if anyone could really do that anymore.

It would see it as similar to a cult leader gathering up his followers and taking them away somewhere. I would be glad I wasn’t part of such a cult that would grab and take them away with no warning. Scary in real life.

It would be incredibly difficult to hide in the present time.

Possessing virtually any electronic device makes you traceable. How many people would go hide and then check the news/facebook on their cell phone?

Not being able to buy or sell becomes a big problem for most.

Cold people turning in their friends and relatives, and of course you.

Who knows what other horrors await in a world where evil is unrestrained for a time.

Scary, indeed.

Hopefully you live in a remote area, or have access to one.

It is our responsibility to keep our house in order, when not done and judgment results, it has been God's way to destroy the good along with the bad.

The rapture would be counter to that.
