The one article said it's mostly used in bread products to prevent mold.

What happens is the additive causes to come into production via gene activation a
fatty acid binding protein 4 (FABP4) that then triggers the production of a brain transmitter called Norepinephrine that is raised to higher than normal levels.
The FABP4 ends up a belly fat and the high than normal levels Norepinephrine
cause insulin resistenance in the cells.
So adult onset diabetes is slowly triggered over time because the belly fat with the FABP4 protein acts as a supply source.
If you stop eating anything that has the additive and work a getting rid of the belly fat your diabetes will correct itself.

The hard part is the weight loss effort but there is a way to do it.

You have to do some Iodine ... I keep telling everyone on GLP , You cannot be Diabetic without being low on Iodine...research Iodine...

my dad only ate homemade bread for most of his life and got diabetes. Now I got him eating a low calorie bread and he is no longer classified as diabetic, but he's also eating a lot less and his belly is gone.

My dad took iodine and he got diabetes. Now he doesn't take iodine and no longer has diabetes.

I think the only thing that cure him really was lowering his caloric intake.

He also avoids a lot of processed foods.

That fat useless fuck Alex Jones used to shill his Iodine all the time. That POS has made all supplements suspect in my eyes. Its hard to find much information on a lot of supplements as the one posting the 'research' and 'proofs' just happen to sell the products.

Foods don't have additives. Products do. Stop eating products.

true ... the internet is bought out like everything else. Whoever pays the $$$ gets the top of the page ... I have never had Diabetes , but My sister got Diabetes so I ordered Her some Iodine ... She wouldn't take it so I did ... I lost the last 50 lbs. to My goal afterwords...The weight just fell off ... I do walk a lot ... but I attribute it to the Iodine ... There is nothing more frustrating than having knowledge and trying to help someone that You care about and They will not listen...later...

It's also true that everyone is different. What works for my body might not work for others.

hyperinsulinism is inhertied... the genetic version of it and it runs big time in my family on fathers side for generations now. Including my own off spring.

MY iodine levels are fine.. so fail on that one... and I do use kelp tabs too anyway..Just part of balancing my diet. Because I don't eat seafood.
