I met him at his 2nd or 3rd wife’s daughters wedding reception in his home. The bride and groom were me and my then wife’s next door party neighbors... total black tie affair with never ending trays of glasses of Dom Perignon going around.
He was one of a dozen or so Oklahoma Oilmen who made a lot of money..
He was nice and gracious and treated everyone there like an equal or Family.
The last time I saw him on TV I realized how “kept in the Dark” so many people are.. because he was discussing the Clinton’s and the Bushes.. and stating how the Bushes had managed to stay “Scandal Free” throughout their public services...
