Some people have less tolerance for plant poisons than others.

like many things its regional it grow out of the ground and if you have nothing it would seem a gift from god. think of cave man times. you get these things that are around you period.

he smokes the menthol but my tobacco is natural.
we roll our own.
he always smells like fresh hay, his breath.

Not a fan of peppermint EXCEPT in the tasty York Peppermint Patty.

i have approx 10 different strains of mint plants growing around my property
spearmint- peppermint - lemon mint - bubblegum mint - chocolate mint etc

hundreds of different varieties of mint plants have been bred - all with a slightly different flavor & smell

ill grow it but i wont eat it.

My old farmhouse came with a mint patch outback around the kitchen.
Fairly standard practice to keep the mice out. Iced mint tea is refreshing...
also makes a great pesto...

i used to throw insects into spider webs to see the spiders eat...lol.

just had a flash, a mint tea for spraying on plants to get rid of fungus?
i have the fungus here in central florida, so much humidity.
its the only trouble i really have.

i knew there were a ton of mints but ive never heard of the bubblegum variety.
was that from a box store or did you send off for that one?

i had chocolate mint once, the kids loved it but it hated the heat and didnt last out the year.
