There is another one in Azerbaijan (however it's spelled) where it's a whole village that built a community kitchen and it shows them working in the gardens, preserving food, cooking food, etc. Flowers and gardens and cute fluffy animals everywhere. Just beautiful.

I'm sorry you got sick! We thought my man's brother had a bug, but it turned out his gallbladder staged a revolt, so he had emergency surgery. The house is rather quiet at the moment. He lives with us because he has some health issues and he has developmental delays. I feel a little bad about letting him get that sick. I hate to say it, but I didn't believe he was as sick as he seemed to show. He does that sometimes - he likes to exaggerate things to get attention, and I thought that's what it was. Ugh I'm awful

My mom is doing better though! She can actually speak in full sentences now, but if she tries to carry on a conversation, her oxygen saturation plummets and she starts getting confused. It's going to be a slow recovery. That's what I'm hoping for, anyway, because the alternative is that she gets worse, and I'm just not ready for that.

I've had just over a week of family coming in and out. I made chocolate chip cookies and my niece said they look like cartoon cookies she would've wanted as a kid.

That made all of my sadness and anxiety wash right out. Just that one cute little statement.

Naw. Still not jumping fences but we are getting a better mattress on my bed anyhow. Problem I have moved everything out of the room onto the bed that we are now going to use that mattress instead of the very bad mattress I'm using right now. And me not jumping fences today is going to be just that - jumping fences but I seriously cannot sleep on this mattress one more night. Hope you are spectacular also my love.

I'm hoping that having all this piled up at once will exempt me from some future karmic debt. I'm probably asking too much, though

Have you checked adds on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace? I have seen several adds offering brand new mattress and the prices are so cheap. I think they are discounted mattress but still brand new.
