Has anyone here on GLP ever made money off of recording and selling audio books?

Do you have the proper recording studio to produce audio?

I've been told it is very pleasing yes.

I'm in the DFW area of Texas.

Not quite.

I do have some semi decent equipment if I were to record in a very lo-fi sort of set up.

I've got some other projects in the works right now so one thing I'm going to invest in pretty soon is high quality proper recording equipment, mics, etc.

I also sing for shits and grins but don't plan on making any money with my old crooner songs. But I do think making audio books would be right up my alley.

I know in the occult sciences, metaphysics, esoterica field there aren't audio book recordings of a lot of older material just a bunch of self-help type stuff that's oversaturated the market.
