Lobster has a good publicist. It's really not that great, especially Maine Lobster (gross).

King Crab is so much tastier, really all of the crab kingdom but the smaller crabs are so much work :(

No. Never again. One time I bought a bag from their market and the potatoes smelled SO BAD. They are disgusting.

Lobster is succulent when dipped in drawn butter. I lived in Maine and you could get a "chicken" lobster pretty inexpensively.

But for taste, make homemade crab cakes. Those are delicious.

Fried oysters in cracker crumbs, crab cakes, tuna sashimi, grilled scallots wrapped in bacon, shrimp ceviche, all of these taste better than standard lobster.

A good lobster tail and steak is a delicious combo. Now spiny lobster from the Caribbean is very good when eaten immediately after being caught.

King crab legs are great and superior to standard lobster.

This is spiny lobster and the tails are quite good.

That works with pasta.

I always mash the potatoes before adding anything. Then I use heavy whipping cream to thin them out enough to run mixer blades to make them velvet smooth. The fats and proteins of the cream bind to the carbohydrates of the starch making a complete and complex side dish. Let each diner add butter, sour cream, chives, spices or whatever on their plates.

I second that notion...yuck!

So, I tried the roasted potato recipe and I loved it.

This recipe is a keeper! Next time I am going to try to infuse different flavors just because I love to make recipes my own and fit them to the dish I am serving it with.

Of course, my Hungarian Stuffed Bell Peppers were awesome too. My 87 year old Hungarian dad loves to help me when we make these.
