What's your favorite type of peanut butter and jelly to use for a PBJ?

Smooth & Grape or Apple Butter

Smooth PB and mayonnaise. Hold the jelly.

Jiff peanut butter and home-made sand plum jelly. Just the right balance of sour to sweet. Unfortunately, I don't eat bread any longer.

I wouldn't touch it now, but still prefer crunchy PB

That Maranantha pb is incredible, organic and tastes like Reese's kinda from the roasting!

The kids freak out over grape jelly, I like something with more tang like a raspberry or even apricot.

Live near lots of farmstands, we could probably find some interesting stuff!

I still like smooth PB with mayonnaise added for lubrication. PB is just too sticky, and the damn crunchy stuff gets stuck in your teeth.

Some of them are getting it, though. They may not have heard the term "anti-racist," but they've definitely heard the term "racist," so it's not hard for them to figure it out.

After thinking about this over the weekend, I've decided this was the best slogan. Most would really be confused by "Diversity is....", or just reject it outright. Diversity sounds really positive, you know. Everybody maintaining their unique heritage. I'm even for it.

"Anti-racist is a codeword for Anti-White" is much more difficult to reject, once they've thought about it.

It's a pain but natural peanut butter is better. It selerates so you have to stir it back up. Then real preserves which are hard to find as they keep putting less fruit and more pectin(it comes from apples and allows the jel part to form).

Real pineapple preserves are delixious but now they load that with corn syrup which is weird as golden pineapple is supersweet.

Raspberry preserves and seeded blackberries are great but hard on teeth.

Make your preserves to get a better product. Otherwise if buying in bulk, Knott's Berry Farm preserves were excellent if still available locally. It used to be superior quality yet not expensive if bought in bulk.

Making pectin



Homemade preserves. Without pectin, it will be "runny". Nobody likes that. Preserves should have delicious "chunks" of recognizable fruit.

If you try Elderberry jelly once, you will not want another.
It is that good.
It's like bluberries and grapes had an orgy.

Blackberry. That's some good stuff right there.

A Japanese plum has delicious sweet flesh that is firm. That fruit can be eztremely sweet and is used to make umeshu which is plum wine and a girly drink. The wine frequently stil has plums in it.

A white flesh peach can be extremely sweet and make a fine preserve. Be careful and ask to taste them because they can be mealy like Rome cooking apples. It may be okay for preserves.

Most people have not had either and are delighted when they try them.

A perfectly ripe white flesh peach is bursting with juice and sometime the peel will easily come off in a whole large piece.

Note the size. Some people won't bother with them which is a big mistake.

If your wife likes sweet wine, like an ice wine, then she will like umeshu.

Smooth Jif, real butter, and my own chunky apricot jam on a large Sara Lee hamburger bun. A nice hot cup of Tetly Tea with heavy cream and stevia.

Yea, I know...all that sugar but Stevia in the tea.
