Jerry Nadler and Sen. Kamala Harris are introducing a bill to decriminalize marijuana at the Federal level | |

Kamala Harris are introducing a bill to decriminalize marijuana at the Federal level Either criminalize everything, including alcohol and tobacco--cigars, too--or decriminalize everything. Selective prohibition is dishonest and promotes immorality and crime, and no, no one should be locked up or fined for any substance use. Any trust fund should be a victim fund for those physically harmed by the addicted because there is no cure for addiction, except a change of heart. Even legalized, there will always be a black market because of taxes and regulations and "justice." |

Kamala Harris are introducing a bill to decriminalize marijuana at the Federal level We have to be careful in our approach to cannabis. It is such a useful plant that decriminalization and regulation has to be really smart. We want companies, land owners, and individuals to be able to grow without the tape, even more so I think incentives are inline to produce goods with hemp to encourage innovation. We shouldn't exclude artisians and lifetime grows that do it for recreation. If we leave someone out we make room for a black market and crime. It will take a huge and much needed load off of the legal system. If we do it properly hemp can be the next american revolution, a positive one. That is all. |

Kamala Harris are introducing a bill to decriminalize marijuana at the Federal level House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler and Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Kamala Harris are introducing legislation to decriminalize marijuana at the federal level and repair “the damage done by the war on drugs” as cannabis reform gains steam in Congress. Quoting: Deplorably Charlotte The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act, or the MORE Act, would remove marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act, decriminalizing the drug and allowing states to write their own policies. The legislation would require pot convictions to be expunged or resentenced. It would also create federal protections, such as prohibiting federal agencies from denying benefits to people found using marijuana and preventing immigrants from being deported for a cannabis-related conviction. The bill establishes a 5% cannabis tax to set up grants for minorities and low-income communities. [link to www.cnbc.com (secure)] And ^that^ right there is why this version of legislation should not be passed. Actually that money should go to white people since their are less white people in this world than Hispanics and black people. Pussy Grabber Extraordinaire |

The reason I think incentives to growers are important is so that our young cannabis industry can grow organicly (pun intended) and be inclusive of people who wish to be legal business owners who are currently involved in the cannabis black market. We can save people that are still alive by giving them a chance to utilize their passion in a healthy way and compete with the big corporations. |

See how they're trying to sneak more taxes at us. This wasn't anything to do with decriminalization, that's just the tie-in. That's the bait, to take a tax. And so they just want to push more Federal taxes, when there's already State taxes that take their cut, this is like voting for more middle-men. |

These commies know blacks and hispanics are waking up. Dangle that pot carrot in front of them, in hopes they will go back to sleep in a pot coma couch lock. One of the best comments on this Issue YET, focusing on how the Dems are trying to get more power and votes. Oh how the Truth hurts, as much as I am for legal use of the plant.
