That contraption cost more than repairing the vehicle's AC.

But it is amusing.

That written by someone (me) that has replaced two vehicle AC compressors and gotten the AC working, and I never went to HVAC or vehicle AC school--heat transfer and fluid flow is not rocket science, it is junior high school physics.


He spent more on that than simply fixing the problem. This was not a "poor people" issue.

Actually, as “Ghetto” or Redneck it is..........it’s pretty inventive and very smart. Just not aesthetically pleasing

So just because it’s gawked at and made fun of, doesn’t mean they’re making fun of poor people. I would venture to say that someone that thinks that way is probably more likely to survive a SHTF situation better than most Rich folks.
