Prayers sent and I'm hoping for the best. This may be a silly question, but have to tried looking for him? Gone to the shelter? Called all the vets in the area? He may have be been injured or caught in a trap and someone took him in. You never know. It happens. Keeping good thoughts for you and your kitty.  Thank you! - we are trying all you suggested! Good. Check Craigslist lost and found, and pet sections too.
