The image in the book looks more like a classic crown but googling for Boeotian polos, it's quite a bit different.

Have you ever noticed the strange cone things on peoples head in Egyptian tomb paintings?

Most history books will probably tell you that these cones were made of perfumed wax, oils or fat, which people would wear on top of their wigs to parties and feasts. I think the idea is that in the heat of the night the wax or fat would melt releasing wonderful smells and moisturising oils.

What do you think? It seems a little bit odd. The cones look like they have some sort of yellow petals or drips at the top. They seem to be worn mainly by women but also by men. They are worn by musicians and servants as well as the rich party goers. Why didn’t the cones just fall off? What kept them on?

Another weird dream. There was a family of turtles. They were coming out of the water onto a hilly bank. The baby turtle went first but quickly went back into the water. The mother then went up onto the land and there was a rattlesnake coiled up and it bit the mother turtle.

I know turtles are hexagonal. Snakes are a sign of electricity.

There was a small group that I was with where we were going to the beach and we went through what looked like a labyrinth of wooden stairs. There was a small opening that barely fit ones head that we all squeezed through to get to the beach. The ocean was like the most beautiful water I'd ever seen and was more green than blue. The sun was setting and the moon was out and everyone was happy to be there. A turtle the size of a car swims on shore and says they had been swimming for x (leaving that out) amount of days. After the turtle passes, we look at the horizon and a tsunami appears. It takes up the whole sky and just keeps getting bigger and bigger. There is no where to run or out run it, so we were all peaceful with staying and embracing it. We just held on to each other. The feeling was a nice one when the water enveloped and I remember right before waking pushing up off the ground twice underwater as we were all still holding on to each other.
