And during my time with ghost hunters, I experienced the thought that hauntings were energetic imprints of some sort so this "stone tape theory", is so interesting.

And the contradiction that the imprints do sort of communicate would be linked to the microbes 'keeping it going' as you say..

And also could have to do with why the faces in the orbs..
