Costs of living in insane. My brother rents a bunk bed with five other dudes to a room for $600/month. I can't live on my own for anything less than $1500.

You don't hear English anymore. I wish I was joking about this. No matter where I go, no one speaks English. Every conversation is in a different language.

I grew up in Orange County and had a wonderful childhood. Now I feel out of place and can't wait to leave.

I've already started my plans to move before these quakes, and they're a good kick in the ass to follow up on a few things I need to wrap up here. Once resolved, I can leave this state behind.

I got a little lazy on this. I actually found a home I truly love to live in. But after this place started rockin' around like a shaky Jello mold over the weekend, I think I can let it go now.

I don't fit in here anyway. I'm 5th generation Californian, but I don't even recognize this state anymore.
