They say Shabtai is the great misfortune, but it is only so to those not prepared. For Shabtai itself denotes a preparation and an establishment. It is the established one, the resting one. Shabtai denotes a cutting off the former. They say it is a harbinger of death, but it may rather be described as a harvest, a cutting off, a breaking away of that which is already dead. The old name for Saturn was Kiyyun, which denoted a fixation, a stillness, a repose, an immovable point.
