Trump: Appointing Jeff Sessions AG 'biggest mistake' of first term

President Trump says naming Jeff Sessions — an ardent supporter in 2016 — as attorney general was the biggest mistake of his first term.

Mr. Trump, asked in an NBC interview if he’d like to do anything over, didn’t hesitate, signaling the former Alabama senator’s decision to recuse himself from the Russian meddling investigation still rankles.

“Yeah, that was the biggest mistake,” Mr. Trump told Meet the Press host Chuck Todd in an interview airing Sunday.

Re: Trump: Appointing Jeff Sessions AG 'biggest mistake' of first term
All Sessions ever accomplished in the Senate is being a chair moistener.

He had zero experience being in charge of a large operation. Especially an entity filled with hate driven lawyers waging lawfare against one and all.

He just upfront lied to the president by saying he "followed the law" by not doing his job and handing his office over to actual Clinton DNC delegates and partisan lawyers.

Sessions is a huge POS. There's no end game down the road where he emerges as any thing but a coward.

I always thought Sessions either got cold feet once he realized the enormity of his new position....or somebody, somewhere had some real dirt on him and threatened to expose it.
