I enjoy my coffee, my tea, my variety of good healthy food on a daily basis and am regaining my health.

Anyone doing what you're suggesting is committing suicide.

And too much meat creates chemicals and byproducts that damage the health and your liver has to process the meat.

Moderate proteins, high fat, so your body runs on it and your cells do and its delays or prevents dementia, and copious amounts of greens and veggies, and IMO healthy portions of fruit if you can handle that.

Meat and water is what my cats love, but I'm not a feline.

Keto..... when people are on a Keto diet, the brain, is in a similar state to a manic episode.

The brain produces a chemical thats similar to GHB, BHG, its the same chemical.

I believe very strongly that everyone is made slightly different. So this is the average system only. Some may need higher protein. Some may handle a bit of carbs, but not if they are putting on weight or have bad health, arthritis and pre diabetes, etc. Even that has a host of different symptoms.
Most people as they age can't handle carbs however.

Some do well on a balanced diet and can handle more cheats in life than others, and even live to be 100.

Inuit and native diets included alot of fat. Inuit, unlike Native diets, had far less vegetables but North and South American had copious amounts of berries, greens, roots, and some carbs, some roots, some corn, but organic corn, vegetables and low carb seeds and grains, not our wheat.

Inuits lived in a harsh environment and those that couldn't survive on that diet or the environment obviously didn't live long.

First Nation People are very sensitive to Diabetes, ie Carbs.

Ooligans, a little bacon fish, is one of my favorite fishes.

Hunting and gathering in the summers, more fruits and carbs for burst of energy, and more fasting and food preservation for winter, with high fats and preserves often berries. Quite close to a Keto diet.

This is true for most.. because our meat suits require cholesterol to make our adrenal steroids.. Few people can make their own cholesterol but that is beginning to develop in some. I am not one of them at this point. I gave up meat because it got disgusting and was making me worse.. but I enjoy top quality pasture raised eggs.. usually 3 a day.

I use butter and some amounts of cheese and yogurt.

We report a child who developed acute pancreatitis and died. A 9-year-old girl had a seizure disorder with associated developmental delay owing to glucose transport protein deficiency. The ketogenic diet with medium chain triglyceride oil had been initiated shortly after diagnosis in infancy. She was not on anticonvulsants. She presented in coma with decreased respiratory effort and shock, requiring resuscitation. Investigations were consistent with pancreatitis. Despite fluid resuscitation and inotropic support, she had prolonged hypotension and acidosis. She subsequently had a cardiac arrest and died. A postmortem examination confirmed hemorrhagic pancreatitis. Hypertriglyceridemia is a risk factor for developing acute pancreatitis. The high fat content of the ketogenic diet often causes hyperlipidemia. The outcome for this patient raises concern regarding a potential consequence of the ketogenic diet.

For some when they become keto adapted, and I would have suggested tweaking it, and using breath fresheners, mint or cinnamon. But it is supposed to go away. I have a slightly heavier taste but keep brushing my teeth and so far not the nail polish taste.

It takes time, up to 6 weeks for some. One guy said it took him 4 months to become keto adapted and then time to adjust.

But compared with terrible health and a early grave, I'll take the Keto.

So what is your diet like now, are you still reducing carbs?

No I eat the carbs I need and use my insulin as needed... Never again Keto.. ketoacidosis is DEADLY in the case of diabetics... In this video he talks about the acetone as an adjustment the body is in while it becomes fully keto adapted and that its temporary unless you are Diabetes 1, and then you should get it tested by the doctor due to a rare condition called Keto Acidosis. In that rare case your PH goes way to high.

So for everyone else if that breathe happens to speed up ketosis by being very strict and keeping under 20 carbs. 3-8 weeks. Do IF to drop insulin and get it going much faster.

Electrolytes. Make sure you up your fluid and electrolytes.

Not to fat. In fact you don't count calories at all on keto.

And initially switching over, you would incorporate fat bombs, small fatty low carb/zero carb snacks to ensure you can make it to your meal.


Over time, as your body becomes Keto adapted, your hunger goes away, because you're constantly running on your fat.

Keto helped muck up my system.. and I tried it again for diabetes and had a big problem with keto acidoses complete of mouth constanting tasting like nail polish remover.

For some when they become keto adapted, and I would have suggested tweaking it, and using breath fresheners, mint or cinnamon. But it is supposed to go away. I have a slightly heavier taste but keep brushing my teeth and so far not the nail polish taste.

It takes time, up to 6 weeks for some. One guy said it took him 4 months to become keto adapted and then time to adjust.

But compared with terrible health and a early grave, I'll take the Keto.

So what is your diet like now, are you still reducing carbs?

No I eat the carbs I need and use my insulin as needed... Never again Keto.. ketoacidosis is DEADLY in the case of diabetics... Type 1 diabetes. Most of us want to prevent getting full fledge so that condition is not a nice one.

Ketoacidosis is a similar word but its a different thing than ketosis.

And rare thankfully.
