It's noon on Sunday in mid-June and the temperature is a balmy 57 degrees

Spring has been a gradual winding down of winter that won't seem to end in southeastern Wisconsin.

Rain, rain everywhere to the point of saturated soil conditions. Regular wind storms with gusts above 40 miles per hour. In the past year we've accumulated more than 12 inches of rain in excess of normal rainfall totals. Likewise with snow totals.

A "warm" day this year sees a high above 70 degrees and most nights are giving low temperatures in the 40's. Trees, flowers, vegetables, etc. are all running 3-5 weeks behind their normal schedules.

I've still got the heat on and haven't used any air conditioning thus far this year.

We've not had the floods that some of you have suffered with and tornadoes are an exception rather than the rule this far north. That's the only "good news" thus far this year.
