This level of EQ happens around here every few years. No big deal. Unless this one happens to actually reflect a collapse of the salt mine. Even then, it just means a slight increase in the price of salt.

That doesn't look like an earthquake more like some sort of underground cave or cavity collapse.

Lake Erie is my first thought, and this happened in the middle of LE, which coastline Cleveland lies on. Lake Erie is at record high.

Entrance into the salt mines is basically between the Flats and the Lake, on the West Side of the river, almost right downtown.

As I recall years ago there used to be a big MORTON'S signs on something there - on the the lift for the elevators going underground??, not sure if the sign is there any more since after a while you stop noticing stuff like that and I haven't paid any attention to that "industrial area" in years since it hasn't changed much over a very very long period of time. (I don't think the "Morton's" sign is there anymore - next time I am in Cleveland and in that area I will take a look)

Salt mines and nuke plant are both ok. Quake was actually out from Eastlake. We do have quakes here every so often. Not a rare occurrence.

Absolutely. Was in Cleveland Heights and the whole apartment building shook and windows rattled like crazy. First thought was a keg being rolled upstairs. Wrong!
