On this same EM spectrum 5G are not ordinary radio waves. They are situated in the microwave part of the EM spectrum. The end of the 5G spectrum actually comes fairly close to approaching gamma radiation. Sure there is a vast gap from the beginning and end of the 5G spectrum, but just know it's all microwave radiation within the 5G spectrum part of the EM spectrum.
