^^THIS!^^ My cat is 17 years old and is diabetic. She gets urinary tract infections easily. But they are also easily treatable and I'm no millionaire!

How could these people let their 7 year old cat die from a simple UTI? Thats just barbaric! Especially when the owners are filthy rich! Poor cat....

RIP Grump cat. I haven't watched the video Louis put up yet, but it does make you wonder how she died from that. Surely, she had good care. One article said from complications due to a UTI. Perhaps it had something to do with dwarfism? I don't know anything about that.

Somebody gave me a grumpy cat t shirt a few months ago.. it will be cherished in her memory.. The person who gave me it.. had never heard of Grumpy ... so I enlightened her... I get lots of HAPPY faces when I wear the shirt by Grumpy Cat lovers.

This seems a very advanced kitty when I saw her live... and my logical guess is she may well go straight to her next incarnation.. in a Human meat suit...

Wow, ten thousand kids starve to death in the World everyday and America is shitting itself over a "meme cat", I am just about to the point where I think the Illuminati needs to cull a couple of billion assholes from this mud ball.

I actually lost my favorite cat, the year before last, still trying to cope with the loss that never fully healed. After that my Mom died, last year, and since then I've had a falling out with my Dad. I don't get to see my sisters, and the only family I have are my grandparents who are on their way out the door so to speak, as well. There's a lot of loss going on in my life right now. But I'm glad that I'm not the only one, then again, I don't wish this manner of grief on any man. My cat was mauled by a dog, my mom died to cancer, & my dad is a selfish narcissist. I have reached such a low point in my life, I don't ever expect to fully recover. Friends are traitors, and family is just a word. Animals were the only ones I could relate to, because I felt like they understood. People have only hurt me for the last 26 years. What hope do I have to expect from this life? Only grief, and long suffering, highlighted by episodes of manic excitement to be dashed upon the rocks that is the reality of life.

I'm very sorry for your loss but maybe you should start looking for another cat. Lots of shelters have cats who would love for you to adopt them.

Tried that, didn't work, and just made things worse. I can barely cleanup after myself, much less a litter box. Sad I know, but my depression deepened after catching the flu, and being unable to work. I'm not proud of myself, so it's best if I don't have pets or people relying on me for survival, or even a comfortable environment, when I can't even care for myself. I'm a failure, like any human, but seeing yourself fail at even the most menial of tasks, really does damage to a man's pride.
