The revolution to restore the American Republic wasn't going to come from the an American population which in 2016 was fully half communist and voting communist.

You are actually calling for greater government overreach into private businesses and asking the government to forcibly prevent those businesses from acting as they see fit.

Do you see the problem here? Most people on GLP would agree that it's wrong for the government to require a private bakery to make a cake for a gay wedding.

But then many turn around and encourage the exact same thing for those they disagree with. "Government! A private enterprise is doing something I don't like! Seize more power so you can stop them!" No, I don't agree with what they're doing but fortunately that's the beauty of free enterprise - you can tell them to fuck off by not doing business with them. Freedom of speech and small government goes both ways, guys. PS in regards to the specific argument that companies that are built off using the internet should be considered public in some way because the government set up the initial infrastructure, that reasoning can be used to argue that you have no right to privacy online as you're using the government's cables to access the internet. Or that you have no right to privacy on a roadway because the government built that. That one argument, that if the government had a large enough hand in something that everything that takes place in relation to that something should be regulated could be used to basically remove any semblance of freedom we still cling to.
