SpaceX admits to total loss of Crew Dragon in April 20 test explosion - video

Duh.

So what was the cause of the explosion? Jeff Foust, senior writer at SpaceNews, tweeted earlier today that Koenigsmann stated the “vehicle was destroyed” — but before the vehicle’s thrusters ignited. That suggests the “anomaly” arose not because of the Crew Dragon’s eight emergency thrusters.

“We have no reason to believe that there is an issue with the SuperDraco systems themselves,” Koenigsmann confirmed at today’s press event.

Almost looks like it was a bomb rather than a fault with the Crew Dragon itself!

These failures are actually a plus for the research. They test these things to the breaking point on the ground so it doesn't happen after launch. With each failure, a fault is found which leads to improving the system!

what the heck is this crap? first off it looks like a seriously bad B grade movie from a VHS tape in the 80s that was left out in the sun

and then second, totally misleading to get views as there was nobody actually lost in the explosion, as in 'crew' in the name of the capsule.

just a ploy for some attention

Ummmm..........Crew Dragon is the name of the capsule! As far as the video is concerned, it was done with a cell phone camera by an employee who uploaded it without permission! That's why it looks the way it does - it's not an officially released video but SpaceX has finally admitted that it is real!
