Habermas is a staunch defender of the resurrection of Jesus. His arguments are based on the prerequisite that Jesus of Nazareth existed (ignoring that the evidence leaves much to be desired), and the view that the Bible is self-evident and that its depiction of Jesus' life is an unvarnished historical account. Habermas's case for the resurrection is based on a number of "facts":

1. Jesus died by crucifixion.
2. He was buried.
3. His death caused the disciples to despair and lose hope.
4. The tomb was empty (the most contested).
5. The disciples had experiences which they believed were literal appearances of the risen Jesus (the most important proof).
6. The disciples were transformed from doubters to bold proclaimers.
7. The resurrection was the central message.
8. They preached the message of Jesus’ resurrection in Jerusalem.
9. The Church was born and grew.
10. Orthodox nope who believed in Christ made Sunday their primary day of worship.
11. James was converted to the faith when he saw the resurrected Jesus (James was a family skeptic).
12. Paul was converted to the faith (Paul was an outsider skeptic).

AND most of them died a horrible death, one that could have been prevented had they only renounced Jesus.

I don't know of anyone who would sacrifice his life for a lie!

“Even though they were crucified, stoned, stabbed, dragged, skinned and burned, every last apostle of Jesus proclaimed his resurrection until his dying breath, refusing to recant under pressure from the authorities. Therefore, their testimony is trustworthy and the resurrection is true.”

Here is a list of independent sources compiled by Bart Ehrman, one prominent anti-Christian scholar. We'll use his work since we know he won't be biased towards the Christian cause.

It includes both biblical (1-7) and non-biblical (8-11) sources that testify to the death of Jesus by crucifixion:
Writings of the Apostle Paul
The Gospel According to Mark
The Gospel According to John
Source material referenced by the Gospels According to Matthew and Luke
Hebrews
1 Peter
1 Timothy (Ehrman doubts Paul's authorship of this letter)
Tacitus
Josephus
The Gospel According to Thomas (A false gospel written by a group by the Gnostics)
The Gospel According to Peter (A false gospel written by a group by the Gnostics)

Non-believers will try to argue that secular folks have died for their beliefs many times. Those beliefs are based on political or moral convictions.

Basically....feelings.

The Apostles and early disciples of Jesus preached a "resurrected Jesus" - an event that solidified His teachings to the Believers.

When or whether Constantine actually converted doesn't matter. The "event" that he experienced caused him to legalize Christianity.

There are multi-thousands of modern day folks who have proclaimed Jesus as Saviour along with belief in God and the Bible because they also have had an....event.

When your premise is that the Bible is the literal and unvarnished truth, your conclusions are suspect. Logic 101: faulty premise leads to flawed conclusions.

And your evidence is {--------} nothing but rhetoric.

No people in the Bible have been proven to have NOT existed.

No places in the Bible have been proven to have NOT existed.

No events in the Bible have been proven to have NOT have happened.

God...the Father..exists, as does His Son Yeshua.

The Bible covers 4000+ years of their interaction with mankind.

Hundreds of people AND thousands of places mentioned in it are proven to exist.

And there is not one single shred of evidence OF ANY KIND that actually DISPROVES anything in the Bible.

The town of Nazareth didnt exist at the time Jesus was said to be alive

Jesus of Nazareth?

That guy would need to have been born centuries later

So thats one fundamental narrative error

I don't know why you say Nazareth didn't exist then but anyway-here are some Bible mentions-

And he came and settled in a city named Nazareth, in order to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets: “He will be called a Nazarene.”

Nazareth: Probably meaning “Sprout-Town.”
Nazareth was the town in Lower Galilee where Jesus lived most of his earthly life.
.

"spoken through the prophets":

“He will be called a Nazarene”: Evidently referring to the book written by the prophet Isaiah (Isa 11:1), in which the promised Messiah is referred to as ‘a sprout [Hebrew, netser] out of the roots of Jesse.’

Since Matthew speaks of “prophets” in plural, he may also have been referring to Jeremiah, who wrote about “a righteous sprout” as an offshoot of David (Jer 23:5; 33:15), and to Zechariah, who describes a king-priest “whose name is Sprout” (Zec 3:8; 6:12, 13).

The term “Nazarene” became an epithet applied to Jesus and later to his followers.

An old argument that no longer holds water.

Even Bart Ehrman admits that Nazareth existed in Jesus' times.
