Any pure opiate antagonist would work but naltrexone is perfect for its halflife and lack of toxicity even in huge doses. Since endorphins are central to many physiologic functions the lack of them from consumption by disease or stress conditions or by naturally decreasing production by advancing age (exactly like other important health regulatory hormones neurotransmitters that is built into aging process,}Return to more normal youthful levels is generally beneficial, and almost uniquely free of adverse consequences. I recommend 5 mg a day AT NIGHT preferrably between 9 pm to midnight ONLY ( although til about 2 am will be ok. ANY OTHER TIME during the day it's Worthless. And just like I did, he found out that many other health problems went away or became better. THIS IS NO SURPRISE when you understand that it's so fundamental for proper physiologic function. I personally found it makes RLS go away, it has cured cancers, greatly reduces herpes outbreaks and generally improves resistance to a number of viruses, seems to moderate allergy and hypersensitivity syndromes and stabilize out of control immune conditions and seems to reduce or resolve prostate issues and improves depression and PTSD and restores immune normality to people taking immunosuppresants all without any adverse effect. All for a few pennies a day with no risk and no complex regimens and there seems to be no tolerance build up. Nothing lasts forever and nobody lives forever, but once the effects of aging start accumulating this is all that works with no known risk. Dissolve one 50 mg tab in 50 ml of distilled water, let it disolve and shake it up. Store it in a glass container in your refrigerator. 1ml = 1mg. There are lots of videos out there on the subject. I have personally done my own compounding and treated my CFS/Fibro/autoimmune issues. I was about to post recommending LDN, however, I did run across some possible issues with candida. I would just research the issue. I didn't post becuase I wasn't positive either way. This drug in low dose is miraculous for many. Did anyone mention food grade oregano essential oil? I use it for any bacterial, viral or fungal issue. Prayers for her. The T4 lymphocytes are a major cell line that fights fungi and parasites and since they have endorphin receptors on them to make them function stimulating endorphin production leads to known benefits in fighting virus, fungi, parasitic disease and cancer. That doesn't mean that's all you might need, but without maximizing that, anything else you try will be less effective since the T4 lymphocyte line is what kills the bad stuff and why when you don't have any or if they are not stimulated, people don't respond to drugs or therapies than should work in normal, younger people. Being endorphin depleted is very much like having AIDS. And, curiously enough AIDS patients respond well to LDN therapy as long as their T4 cell count doesn't drop to nothing. The AIDS virus kills the T4 cell and THAT is why those patients die after they have no functioning T4 cells. So you see it makes obvious, scientific sense and is a proven system. Yes, LDN was discovered by a physician treating HIV patients and he had great success. I agree with what you have written. I am just a nurse who seeks out alternative medicine as allopathic medicine was of absolutely no use to my health problems. OP, I have a prescription, one pill would last over a month. When people go around "disinfecting" everything, that might be backfiring. We are meant to live in a diverse fungal/bacterial stew, really. A balanced environ. I think its a great idea to open up the windows and let air through the house all the time, letting in hundreds, thousands of DIFFERENT flora and fauna. I think in general...basic soap and water is all that is needed for cleaning. I do sometimes use a bit of borax in my cleaning water when I find an overgrowth of mold or mildew, say, in on a bathrooom ceiling or etc. On the other side of things, I do believe that a healthy immune system will be able to handle a flora/fauna filled environ. We kill off our immune systems with antibiotics, which I'm sure they've pumped your wife full of due to Lyme. Your immune system is like your house: it needs pounds of flora and fauna. Repopulate... via living foods (like lacto fermented carrots and beets) and don't be afraid to take things like HCL or Vinegar or Lemon Juice and plenty of natural SALT to make sure the stomach has acid. The gut is the basis of the immune system. Boric acid suppositories will help fungal infections of the female down under and will be made up by compounding pharmacies. These will allow a better balance to be renewed.
