UN Human Settlement Program (UN Habitat) has given the Ok to a company named Oceanix to build the first futuristic floating city, which will produce its own energy and food and can withstand floods, tsunamis and hurricanes.

Though this sounds like an interesting idea, i think that they dont believe too much in their extreem climate change theories. Huge hurricanes, great storms and flooding, huge tsunamis, i dont see how these floating cities can survive the extreems.
