For this to improve, Blacks would have to be socialized back to where they were in the 60s before the height of the Civil Rights protests. I do think Blacks should have civil rights, but that radicalized a lot of their population and promoted a professional anti-White class. Then when you add on the effects of:

you have a perfect storm for destroying an entire sub-class of society. Blacks have to accept education and socialization again to get educated, learn the value of work and businesses and how to work, stay off drugs, become self responsible and stop blaming Whites who aren't even there and stop victimizing their own communities with violent crimes. They have to put DAD back into the home and have intact families.

Some of this especially the family stuff is true for Whites too.

I really do not have a dog in this race, as I live in a pretty remote area. Might become my problem one day, though. Even in a tiny place like this, things are starting to change.

That place is a shithole and I have never felt safe there. My mother has a rare cancer and we have to take her there at least twice a month for treatment. She has had some extended stays there when she has had a reaction to the meds. Protocol is that if her temperature reaches a certain point she is to go to the ER. They check her and send her by ambulance from Branson to St Louis. She has only had to do that a couple of times but one of them they were almost to the hospital and the ambulance got hit by a hit and run driver. Something messed up happens almost every trip up there.

Yeah, right?!?!

I am pretty far from there, but there are similar issues happening more and more in Springfield, which is a bit closer to me.

When do we say when???

Just watched a report on KY3 Springfield in which an African-American Alderman is petitioning the governor of Missouri to activate the National Guard in St. Louis.

He likened it to his time in Afghanistan. He also said this has nothing to do with whites. He said it is pure black on black crime, and that the violence level is rising.

I am trying to find a link. If any of you can help, I would appreciate that.

He did say something about the push for the whole race-war thing, but said that was not true. He said something like: 'the whites are not coming into our neighborhods and killing people...it is the blacks that are doing that in their own neighborhoods.'

My house is fairly new and in a good part of Springfield, never had any trouble until the last two years. But when it changed it changed hard and fast. An assassination two blocks north of me, a dead body found in a neighbor's back yard three blocks west of me another guy got shot two blocks west of me. People climbing the privacy fences to get in back yard, a woman tweaking out front a couple of weeks ago.

I honestly don't know what the hell happened here, but twenty years peaceful as can be, no problem ever and then boom.

Well, I have only been back to the US for 5 years, so I have been asking loved ones about the violence in Springfield. They say it seems it has gotten a lot worse, given what they have seen on the tv, and read.

Those incidents you mentioned...they were not that long ago, right? If so, then I remember seeing about that, and that is when I astarted asking questions (had already gone through that in Memhis...my last Home of Record.)

My sister bought the house new, all new houses and not on a through street. She lived here a few years and then I bought it from her. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, never had to worry about my young daughter playing outside.

That changed over the last 18-24 months and I really don't know why other than that the asassination was drug related.

Charlotte, NC the number of murders at this time is three times higher than at this point last year.

And of course it’s disproportionately black - like 95% black on black.

So, what does the answer look like? Community by community? And, who would fund/run this? The States?

I would think that would be a per State issue. After all, We are supposed to be the United STATES of American. I would not have a problem with a reasonable STATE tax increase if something like that was organized.

Any reason for the rioting or are they just acting out?
