Elephants are AWESOME. Orphans will avenge their slain parents by tearing up human villages (& consuming any alcohol supplies.) They even have a mourning ritual where they all stand in a circle facing their lost member, then one by one touch their trunk to the body & walk away. Elephants have more humanity than most humans do.
