Anyone ever saw everything double for at least a few days?

No alcohol involved this time...

Week ago I got the garbage can in, went upstairs to take my boots of, and got very dizzy. Since then I am seeing everything double.

Thought it was a kind of stroke but the doctor said it wasn't and I have to see an eye doctor.

How can your sight change so suddenly?
