Last night's sunset (March 22)
Did anyone see it? If so, what did you think?

I have never seen a sunset like that one. The sun was a totally different color (almost purple) and was totally blinding. I was in my car heading west and I couldn't see where I was going. The sun visor did not block the sun because it was too low.

Afterwards, all oncoming car headlights were a lavender color.

Not a drinker or druggie. What the heck did I see?

Come on, no one saw the strange sunset last night? For one thing, it was blinding. For another there was a counter-clockwise light that circled the sun.

I didn't want to give it away because I wanted to see other versions if anyone saw it.

Sounds interesting, op :-).. however, it was very cloudy here in the UK so I never saw a thing...

I would've loved to have seen that though...

I've looked around a bit in the forum to see if anything unusual has been reported on this but, nothing...

Surely other's noticed what op is describing too?..

It does sound quite unusual and interesting :-)..

What I saw happened with a clear blue sky. It was the sun itself that was a different color and huge! It was so bright I couldn't see the road.

After that, all oncoming headlights were a lavender color and stayed that way for almost an hour.

I wish I would have had my camera.
