LIFE IS THE MUSICAL MANIFESTATION OF GOD

The luncheons with the Master were held in common, and usually ended in song. We sung in unison. The harmony came from the differences in the tone of the voices. Music gives to man the opportunity to concentrate and focus, to feel the great harmony and unity of life.

The Master said:

"It is said that God created man in His image and likeness. In this case, man represents a Divine book. Through the study of man, one can come to understand Nature.

"You cannot love anything that is not Divine. That which you do not yet understand still brings joy; and that which you do understand is only the wrapping of the Unknown.

"The one who does not understand is not ignorant, but the one who does not investigate the Unknown is. Even when you investigate the Unknown, it will still remain a Mystery to you.

"The Great Intelligent Cause emerges and manifests through multiplicity.

"Why did God desire to create the world? So that He might be made Manifest.

"You need not search in the world beyond for God. He exists in this world as well as in the world beyond. All beings are included within Him.

"When you think about God, you should experience the sublime and experience Life in its totality. To be in harmony with God is to understand the totality of Life. When you are in this disposition, can you say that the world is not good? Everything that God has created has value, but man does not appreciate that which surrounds him. The Essence of Life is that which is made manifest in form. The Unknown is that which creates. The known is the vehicle of the Unknown.

"Only one Master exists in the world. This is God: the One Reality to which man can pray, from which everything is received.

"God is invested in every human being. This investment is found in man's head - in his thoughts, yet its fulfillment is accrued in man's heart.

"Someone owes you something but insists that he does not. Yet within himself, he knows that he is indebted to you no matter what he has said to deny it. The same is true for those who deny the existence of God, but in their hearts they know that God exists.

"People say that no one has ever seen God. This is true for the physical world.

"You say that you have not seen God, nor have you seen the Angels. You have seen God - and the Angels - but you have been blind, this is all. The day will come when all of the people in the world will see the manifestation of God.

"There is a hell, but God has not created this hell. There is a paradise as well, but God has not created this paradise. God has created something much greater."
