You'd have to think about how you'd do it. But history shows this kind of thing can be done. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12877760 I made a time capsule 20 years ago. It will not be found for millennia. Inside it I put some laminated then vacuum sealed pics of life as it was then. The ultimate 1999 capsule. I put in a small glass bong and sealed glass vial of distilled water. A vacuum sealed bag of buds. And a pack of seeds also insulated and vacuum sealed. Complete with pictorial and written instructions on their use. I put in a pack of smokes...5 bic lighters..a bottle of Jim Beam...and a cd copy of "cause of death) by Obituary. I put in a diagram of how to build a guitar too. I sealed the lot into an old small safe. Welded it shut then vaccum sealed it all. Then I wrapped it in 20 layers of heavy industrial plastic and sealed it all again in a huge block of wax. Then covered it over in ceramic tiles and shrink wrapped it and then welded aluminium plates to all sides sealing it yet again. Went out deepsea fishing a few weeks later and dumped it off the edge of the continental shelf. And there it will stay for untold eons. One day someone..somewhere will notice this block in a layer of strata. And...ponder.... |

But, what about the music? Even the older stuff. How many songs will be remembered for posterity. Have to hide away the sheet music for that too. I wonder what they'll think of our music that far in the future. Will it sound medieval to them? |

If that is not a TEOTWAWKI moment in history, I don't know what is. Just because YOU don’t believe in the Rougarou; or the Loup Garou, don’t make you safe; No ! The Constitution is a blend of 'moral certitude' -- which is one of the reasons that criminals are determined to be rid of it and We the People must be even more determined to defend it. "If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace." - Thomas Paine The only thing the Illuminati fears is an independent person who can live, eat, sleep, stay warm and defend themselves separate from Federal help. Pray that the Lord gives us more time! The End is near and time is short! A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion. ~Proverbs 18:2 For those who understand, no explanation is needed. Thats why I vacuum sealed it then filled it with wax. It wont crush. And the contents themselves were also in very strong wax filled containers. That box..will last for EONS...inless..lava gets to it somehow. But thats why I covered in in a layer of thick ceramic. Ceramics last for millions of years. Trust me..NOTHINGS getting to that box. I thought of everything..pressure..temp...all of it. The only thing that will kill that box is lava...and even then the ceramics and insulation will protect it for some time. |

Many civilizations will rize and fall over and over again until its found. I estimate it should last at least 5 million years. Sooner or later someone will find it. And it could be brought to the surface again by some sort of cataclysmic mountain building. And someone will find it...it will make news around the world...IF at the time its found they have crawled their way back to tech again. And the great day will come...as they read what I engraved onto one of the tiles....that they will open it as the world looks on in wonder. I engraved "REALITY IS AN ILLUSION CAUSED BY LACK OF DRUGS"..and underneath is..."THIS SIDE UP"...AND of course..the date it was made. Dec 28th 1999 |
