Quoting: rewind no brainer, right? No, not really. It depends on what browser(s) you're using etc. If you are using one tracker friendly browser like Chrome for everything (including stuff like amazon, ebay, paypal, etc.) then your every move is tracked and more importantly ID'd to you. . I use to clean out my browsers. It works well at deleting malware/spyware and it's free: [link to www.majorgeeks.com (secure)] Note: If the program finds something, you will have to do a reboot. The program is fast so be ready to do the reboot. After restarting, you'll get a log telling you what was found and deleted. I usually format my hard drive and reinstall windows 1-2 a week because even with my updating when prompted my computer gets really messed up and seems like hackers know my passwords and credit card numbers. I hate computers!!! |

K, Thx Brave is not really a "Firefox offshoot". The developer of Brave is an original Firefox developer. But the code has nothing in common. Brave is developed with Chromium code and bares more resemblance to Chrome than Firefox. Brave is a really good browser with some unique privacy features including built in fingerprint spoofing. |
