The way you put it, not only are you reading the letters in reverse order, you mixed up the Yod and Vav.

Yod (transliterated Y) means hand.
Heh (H) means window, but behold is ok. One does behold the world from the window.
Vav (V) means nail or hook.

Put it together and you get: hand behold nail hand, not behold hand behold nail.
